In November 2013, Michael Hartland of K Home International received recognition for his studies, he received the Teesside Instrument Engineers Best Student Award, which is awarded to one stand-out student each year.Michael received his award at the Middlesbrough College Annual Awards Ceremony on 14th November 2013. The awards ceremony celebrated the achievements and successes of Middlesbrough College students over the past twelve months. This achievement has been recognised in the February edition of the Journal of the Institute of Measurement & Control.
