National Skills Academy - Nuclear welcome K Home International

K Home International (KHI) recently joined The National Skills Academy - Nuclear (NSAN). The NSAN is 'The lead strategic body that represents the industry to stimulate, coordinate and enable excellence in skills to support the Nuclear Programme'.Liz Hearnden, Assistant Regional Manager for NSAN visited KHI's Head Office, in Thornaby to meet with Amanda McMahon and David Boxall to formerly introduce KHI to the NSAN.KHI are new entrants to the nuclear industry and this membership will help KHI:* Instil the nuclear safety ethos.* Develop nuclear professionalism* Determine the necessary nuclear industry training and qualification requirements.* Demonstrate the company's existing competence and capability."We have qualified and experienced engineering personnel that with further development and training will be able deliver, safe and successful projects within the nuclear industry" said David Boxall, business development manager for KHI.The engineering services provided by KHI include; feasibility studies, front end engineering design, multi-discipline detail design, 3D modelling, cost estimating and control, procurement, project and construction management.
