James is a finalist at the Chemicals Northwest Awards 2015
The finalists have been announced for the Chemicals Northwest Awards 2015, James Chadwick, Junior Projects Engineer for K Home International (KHI) has been shortlisted for the Chemicals Northwest Young Achiever/Apprentice of the Year Award.The Young Achiever/Apprentice of the Year Award is for individuals working within the chemical sector. This award is to encourage and reward young people who are getting involved in activities and taking responsibility within the industry. The award recognises the learning and application of skills such as problem solving, teambuilding, task management and communication.James is studying Building Project Management BSc at Northumbria University, covering basic technologies and techniques of domestic and commercial construction, to obtain practical experience for his studies he is on a one year placement with KHI as a Junior Projects Engineer, on site where KHI is carrying out Construction Management for a prestigious Client in the North West, as part of an EPCM contract.“I am very pleased to have been nominated for the award by the company and to have made it into the final ten. I would like to thank everybody at K Home International for all the help and support they have given me throughout my placement. I have enjoyed myself in the role on site which has enhanced my ability to learn and allowed me to engage with the Client, Vendors, Contractors and team mates. My time with the company has further assured me that this is the industry I wish to pursue a career in.
