Congratulations to Norman King who has served the company for 20 years

Norman King receiving his Long Service Award from Andrew Home, CEO
K Home International is proud to congratulate Norman King for serving 20 years with the company. Norman was presented with a personalised glass award and gift by Chief Executive Officer, Andrew Home. The presentation was held at KHI's Ingram House Office in Thornaby, Stockton on Tees on the 25th November 2015. The long service awards are presented to employees each 5 years, who have worked for the company for 10 consecutive years or more.Norman spoke fondly of his Technical Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering at Head Wrightson in the late 60s, when Ken Home was a Director of Head Wrightson Process Engineering. Part way through his apprenticeship, the company sponsored him to take a BSc (Hons) Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Norman was a Senior Engineer with Head Wrightson and later Davy McKee for over 20 years. After spells on the Melinar Plant at Wilton, and also with McDermots, an opportunity arose for Norman to join KHI half way through the Falcon Project. Once here, Norman recognised the same professionalism of the workforce, allied to a strong sense of team spirit and fun which had been present at Head Wrightson.A Chartered Engineer, Norman recalled many of the Major Projects he had worked on, and wished the company well in securing work in these challenging times.
