Alex Bottomley wins prestigious award

Alex receiving his award

Alex's success follows on from last year's award to Patrick Shepherd, another K Home International apprentice and in 2014 founder and Chairman, Ken Home being honoured with the Outstanding Contribution award.Alex was commended for his enthusiasm and commitment including his role as a STEM ambassador working with secondary school students. During his apprenticeship with K Home International Alex has worked on projects in the chemical, metals and nuclear industry and he is now studying part time for a BSc in Electrical Engineering.'Alex and our other apprentices continue to play a key role in the work of K Home International and we are pleased to have such talented young people as the future of our industry.' commented Amanda McMahon, Manager of Engineering at K Home International.
