2.5 Million Man-hours without Lost Time Accident
Thornaby based engineering firm K Home International Limited (KHI) is celebrating 2.5 million man-hours without a lost time accident by all employees at their head office and on clients' project sites.This result reflects a continual commitment to Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE)management within all levels of the business. Excellent HSE compliance ensures everyone can go home at the end of the day without injury, and has established an ethos of competency and safety-focus throughout the company.Consideration is provided to HSE management aspects of all projects from initial concept design, detailed design through to construction management and commissioning support. The sectors in which KHI provides its services include chemical, petrochemical, energy and nuclear plants including other heavy industries such as minerals extraction and metals manufacture.
